The Plemmirio SPA at Principe di Fitalia Hotel, covering an area of 2000 square metres, is the largest one in Sicily. A welcoming and relaxing oasis where to regain your psycho-physical well-being, the ideal place to take care of yourself or to have a luxury weekend of total relaxation.
Two aromatic sauna, with orange and mint, purify the body and, at the same time, relax the mind; a Turkish bath (caldarium) and adjoining hammam (tepidarium) combine ancient rites and modern comforts; a burst of energy pervades the entire body after the experience in the “ice cave” or frigidarium, the final phase of the Turkish bath ritual. In the ice cave, the temperature between 12 and 15 degrees facilitates the closing of the pores and the general cooling of the body.
Between a treatment and another one you can enjoy a pleasant break lying on a comfortable bed or relax in suspended tents where to crouch or stop at the herb tea corners to taste one of the delicious infusions having purifying and rebalancing effetcs or rehydrate with mountain water.
The spa experience can continue with a short walk of the Kneipp path to stimulate circulation in the lower limbs, and then be fully involved by the emotional showers of the Wasser path with colours, scented essences and water massages.
The SPA programme is completed with a relaxing bath in the jacuzzi (25 square meters), with its water features (one for arms and calves, one for the hips and buttocks and a waterfall to massage your back) and essential oils dissolved in the water, giving a deep feeling of pleasant abandon.
The cosmetic products used in each of our treatments are exclusively based on natural elements, free from parabens, mineral oils, vaseline, paraffin, colorants, peg and polysorbates.
